"THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL NOT OVERRIDE YOUR WILL"


The Holy Spirit will not override your will, but He will help you if you desire to do the will of God. Lord let your will be done. Let my will become your will in Jesus name amen. Live strong in the Lord, Spirit filled and Spirit led.


As soon as I woke up this morning the Lord began to speak to me about the Holy Spirit. He gives you the power but He does not override your will. Somebody needs that reminder this morning. If you've been struggling with something and NOT getting God results, it's time to change your prayer to asking the Lord to change your heart. It's time to surrender your will to the Lord your God. The same way Jesus submitted to the Father's will by going to the cross, we must be willing to submit to God's will.


John 10:18
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.


When Jesus told the disciples about the Lord's prayer if we pay close attention we see the pattern of asking for God's will. Read Matthew chapter 6:9-15. I preached a message years ago entitled "Battlegrounds" and declared that submission is the key to living strong in the Lord, the Spirit filled Spirit led life.


The Holy Spirit will not override your will, but He will help you if you desire to do the will of God. BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO GOD.
